Welcome to the Marsa Cricket Club housed within the facilities of its parent Main Club, the Marsa Sports & Country Club.

Situated in the Mediterranean, the Maltese Islands boast a temperate climate enabling for all-year-round cricket. Very occasional rain showers might fall in the Winter months of Nov – Feb but matches are rarely cancelled or abandoned.

However the opposite occurs during the Summer months of Jun – Sept with shade temperatures around 40°C in August. During the other months, expect exceedingly mild conditions with a slight breeze to top up your sun-tan.

Cricket has been played on the existing site for over a century. A cricket match is played every Saturday at the club, with touring sides offered both weekend and midweek matches. Any keen cricketer, on holiday or business, is very welcome to join the locals in one of the regular Saturday matches.

The club’s central position makes it easily accessible with local transport. However large groups, such as cricket teams, are advised to use chauffeur-driven mini-buses or self-drive cars as the best means of transport to the club.
