TOURING

Numerous touring sides have enjoyed playing at Marsa with many returning on a regular basis. Most tourists come from England however there have been teams from many other countries, including America, Australia, Cyprus, Denmark, Germany, Holland, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Malaysia, New Zealand, Pakistan, Switzerland and Wales.
Many RN ships have enjoyed playing at the club during their short breaks in Valletta’s Grand Harbour.

Marsa CC have played hosts to a number of special tours - Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) in 1996 & 1999 and the English Professional Cricketers’ Association (PCA) in 2000.

Middlesex County Cricket Club (MCCC) used the club’s facilities for a pre-season training camp in 2001. Harrow School has regularly toured Malta,
as have numerous other schools and colleges. Other visiting sides who have returned have included The Hague CC, Arden Taverners, Beechwood CC, Berne CC, Fiddlers CC, Milan CC, Old Lincolnians/Barnston CC, RMA Sandhurst and Washington Arms.
