The Club will re-open this Friday 22nd May 2020, and we are delighted to have the Club alive once again. However, we must be extremely cautious and strictly abide with the directives and guidelines issued by the health authorities. We find ourselves living in unprecedented times and our daily routine will definitely not be the same as pre-Covid 19 times.
Our main concern is to safeguard the health of our members and staff. In this respect we kindly ask you to carefully read the regulations established by the Committee of Management.
Prior to explaining the procedures, it is vital to underline the importance that:
a) If you are not feeling well, to refrain from visiting the Club.
b) Upon arrival at the gate, you will be requested to stop and allow the gatekeeper to check your temperature. Should you exhibit symptoms or result shows a temperature above normal, you will be asked to leave.
c) You will be required to provide your name and surname together with your ID card number. This information is imperative and must be provided to the security on duty at the gate. Such data will only be used in case contact tracing is required, and all data will be treated within the parameters established by the GDPR. Please keep an identification document with you at all times.
d) It is imperative to have your barrier card to obtain access into the Club, as otherwise you will not be entitled to enter.
We kindly ask for your co-operation with the above.
Noncompliance with the special COVID19 Club rules will result in disciplinary action.
Main Club and Club House
Swimming Pool – The pool is currently closed; we will let you know in due course when it will re-open.
Squash, Cricket and Billiards have not been given the go ahead by health authorities, hence they will remain closed until further notice. Golfers are kindly asked to visit the RMGC’s website or contact their administrative for further assistance.
Whilst some of these measures might not be to everyone’s liking, kindly keep in mind that we are doing this in everyone’s interest. We are hopeful for a tomorrow when we will be able to move to the second phase. We kindly ask for everyone’s co-operation.
These guidelines can only mitigate the risk of Covid 19 infection; they cannot eliminate it. Therefore, the Club cannot be held responsible for any instances that might arise due to circumstances beyond its control. For this reason, we ask members to stay alert and abide with these guidelines, should you notice anyone who exhibits symptoms of the virus to notify the receptionist on duty.
